Is That Trouble Maker The Next Queen of K-Pop?

    Who's that trouble maker?

    Who's that trouble maker?

    Who's that -

    Chill. It's just - Hyuna!

Oh, Hyunseung too.

My Youtube Channels

I have two (actually three...I really need to go delete the old one). One is called 'UkisSoshi' ('cuz when I made this I was realy into Ukiss - I've always been into SNSD). The second one is 'heartKPOPhaven'. Yes, it has the same name as this blog because that channel is where I will be uploading videos that I made purposely for my blog. Also some SNSD vids. Now why am I making an entry about this? Well...uhm...err...'cuz I can.

If you get tired of reading and just wanna watch some K-Pop fmv's (fanmade music videos, for you noobs), here are the channel links:

    Enjoy the show~

Dude (Looks Like A Lady)

Koreans have this thing, their dudes like to dress up as dudettes. Ok, I'm not saying all their men are like this. But it is a thing. Don't believe me? Just go check out any Korean shows. You are guaranteed to find at least one episode featuring 'men/boys who look pretty in wigs and skirts'.

A little example.

1,2,3 ~ Eyesmile~

I used to have this classmate, whenever he smiled, his eyes went missing. When he smiled while we were talking, I would go, "Are you still looking at me? I can't see your eyes."

He looked something like this.

Two of A Kind

Yes, once again, the title refers to the Olsen twins. This time it's a TV Show. And they looked like this:

Yes, I was obsessed with them
(so was half the world) - sue me.

It Takes Two (Three?)

If you were once an adoring fan of arguably the most famous twins in the whole wide world, you would know that It Takes Two is a movie starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Back when they were younger.

No, younger - as in little tykes.

SNSD: Fairytale Princesses Version

Long, long time ago. In a Kingdom far, far away. There lived nine beautiful princesses, who captivated everyone with their charms, looks and singing prowess. Together, they were known as Princesses' Propagation.

No? Ok.

(Babo) 바보 ~

Everybody now ~ 바보!
    Yeah, Jessi, I feel you.

Why It's Good to Be In A Big K-Pop Group

Previously, I talked about reasons why the K-Pop scene has a few big singing groups. I kind of ended it on an abrupt note 'cuz the post was getting waaay too long:P Last thing I touched on was how it might not be that good to be part of a big group, lest you might not get your own spotlight.

She's getting hers.

Why do some K-Pop Groups have so many members?

"K-Pop singers really do love singing in big groups don't they?" - my housemate, as she stares at my Super Junior and SNSD posters.

I wonder if she had stared even longer if I had a poster of A-Peace on my wall.

No, look closely. They didn't just copy and
paste one guy's picture 20 times.

Three's a Party -

    - if the three are these guys:D

Meet my future husbands (yeah...I really wish I could marry more than one guy:P) From left to right: Park Jung Min [SS501], Jung Hae Won [X-5], No Min Woo [actor].

Fandom

The whole time I was fangirling over DBSK,somehow never once had I refered to myself as a Cassiopeia. I just never felt the need to associate myself with any fandom since I seemed to go ga-ga over all the boybands anyway. Again - boybands. Note that I was still not much of a girlgroup supporter.

All that changed in late 2008. I started listening to songs by girlgroups. Just listened, I watched their MV's as well but I didn't bother googling them up much. However, it was early 2009 when my love for girlgroups became REAL. After January 2009, I gave girlgroups the same level of love I gave the boybands I fangirl-ed over. Heck, 2009 was even the year I became even more learned about this whole K-Pop phenomenon.

So, what caused the sudden love rush for girlgroups? This -

I fell off the wagon?

About two posts ago, I said I have never, ever left the wonderful world of K-Pop. Well, that's a lie. Hey, it's not a bad one:P OK, it's just that I had a brief hiatus from K-Pop/fangirling back in 2008. And I had a reason for that. Someone told me such awful lies (?) about the world of K-Pop that I couldn't listen to any K-Pop songs without being reminded of what the person said.

I have never told anyone else what transpired during the conversation, it's sufficient to say it just hurt me bad...
Baaaaaad!

Fangirling mode -ON!

I fangirl-ed over DBSK for a long, long time before I finally turned my attention to other K-Pop acts (though DBSK was still my main/fave). Not surprisingly, all the other K-Pop acts that I turned my attention to were SM artists. Since you know, they were all under the same company as my ultimate bias DBSK. I fangirl-ed over Super Junior A LOT XD Especially 'cause Donghae is such a cutie/hottie<3

How it all began...

The year was 2006, back then I was not aware of this thing called K-Pop. That is until this one fateful day. A group of friends and I wanted to do a dance number for a show in our college. So we were discussing the choreo steps when one of them suggested we take a look at some K-Pop music videos for inspiration. And that was how I was introduced to K-Pop, or more specifically - DBSK [동방신기].

Into The New World~

Yeah, this is my first voyage into the world of blogging:D (I know,I'm a few hundred years behind time but here I am) Frankly,I feel like I have so many KPop-related stuffs to say that I do not know where to even begin.
